Dan Slevin is a confirmed Wellingtonian of longstanding and a former ZM DJ, theatre publicist and cinema-owner. After many years of enjoying the people and places that make up the capital city, he is thrilled to be telling their stories and celebrating their talents in FishHead.

In his spare time Dan writes movie reviews, theFunerals & Snakes blog, features regularly on Radio New Zealand’s Nine to Noon and podcasts the showRancho Notorious every week. Rachel Williams – Distribution Manager

Rachel Williams is FishHead’s distribution manager. An American with 15 years’ advertising experience in three continents, Rachel Williams moved to Wellington four years ago with her earthquake scientist husband, two boys and their poodle-terrier cross, Pebbles.

In the past, Williams has been an unfunny stand-up comedian in San Francisco, adopted a cat to Neil Young and lived in Guatemala – although she can only remember one phrase in Spanish, Mas cerveza por favor. Away from FishHead, her goal is to dine in every restaurant in Wellington.

Vivienne

Vivienne Brown — Wellington Advertising Executive

Vivienne Brown is the new addition to FishHead’s advertising team. A well-known Wellington business development manager, she worked for Bartercard for 13 years as the company’s top sales executive. She has also been very active in media sales, including television, newspaper and radio.

Away from the office, Brown enjoys exploring developing world destinations, preparing a cuppa over the campfire, snorkelling with dolphins, cycling, or just relaxing in her beautiful native garden at her Island Bay home, where she lives with her partner Cooper and loving Burmese cat Gandolph.

Lisa Noble — Art Director

Lisa leads our design department. Her lifelong love of books, magazines, nice pens and all things beautiful has accompanied her through a 20-something-year career in design studios and in her own business. A native Wellingtonian, Lisa has made the Top of the South her home since returning to her beloved Aotearoa from Spain, where she lived for 10 years. Although she sometimes misses the European lifestyle, she strongly appreciates New Zealand’s natural beauty, good fortune and relative calm. On her travels around the world, Lisa has gathered treasures such as retro fabrics and tablecloths, letterpress print samples and quirky nic-nacs that make her eyes feel happy.

Annabelle web72

Annabelle Archibald – Graphic Designer

Annabelle has been designing with WildTomato for over a year and has loved every second of it. A designer by trade, but an illustrator by nature, Annabelle is most happy creating. She is thrilled to combine her love for print and passion for design on a daily basis with this magazine. Outside the office Annabelle likes cups of tea, a good movie, sifting through old stuff and scribbling away in her notebook.
